UPF-USA is headquartered in Washington, DC, and is the coordinating body for UPF activities within the US. The activities of the US Chapter are far ranging, working with hundreds of partner organizations and more than 15,000 Ambassadors for Peace nationwide. Throughout more than fifty years, the Reverend and Mrs. Sun Myung Moon have devoted themselves to the pursuit of peace, and they have established numerous organizations and foundations whose main focus has been world peace.

These include the Professors World Peace Academy, the Women's Federation for World Peace, the Youth Federation for World Peace, the Inter-Religious Federation for World Peace, the World Media Association, the International Conference on the Unity of the Sciences, the Summit Council for World Peace, the Universal Peace Federation, and others.
